FITZGERALDS is proud to showcase local artist Joshua "Snagz" Valdovinos in SIDEBAR & BABYGOLD BBQ for the months of November and December. Original pieces and prints will be for sale. The opening event/reception is FREE and will include a live art demonstration and free live music. "Joshua , "rdquo" -> SNAGZ" Valdovinos is a Berwyn based muralist, artist, and instructor with 20 years of experience creating art in and around his community. Rooted in hiphop and streetart culture, his work moves between sketchy, expressive cityscapes and his , "rdquo" -> Universe Within" series, exploring the connection between people, energy, and the world around us. SNAGZ works across murals, canvas, custom cars, live painting, and community art projects. Beyond his own studio practice, he teaches street art, and breakdancing to kids through the Oak Park Education Network, using creativity as a way to build confidence, connection, and self-expression. He also stays active in his community through volunteer work with the Berwyn Public Art Initiative, helping bring more art and creative opportunities into local public spaces. Whether he's painting a wall, creating a piece for a collector, or working with kids on their first spray-painted masterpiece, his goal is simple: make art that feels alive, connects with people, and brings positive energy into the spaces we share."
